{"id":11768,"date":"2021-09-27T10:43:22","date_gmt":"2021-09-27T10:43:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reri.org.rs\/reri-proudly-announces-its-advisory-board\/"},"modified":"2023-05-20T10:01:46","modified_gmt":"2023-05-20T10:01:46","slug":"reri-proudly-announces-its-advisory-board","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reri.org.rs\/en\/reri-proudly-announces-its-advisory-board\/","title":{"rendered":"RERI Proudly Announces its Advisory Board"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The\u00a0Renewables and Environmental Regulatory Institute\u00a0(\u201eRERI\u201c)\u00a0is\u00a0pleased\u00a0to announce\u00a0its\u00a0Advisory Board,\u00a0which will act as an\u00a0expert\u00a0body\u00a0of our organization, and\u00a0advise RERI on issues of strategic importance,\u00a0as well as\u00a0provide support\u00a0to\u00a0RERI\u2019s engagement with the academic, civic, and policy-making communities.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have special honour to welcome\u00a0the three first\u00a0members of our new\u00a0Board: Professors Sanja Bogojevic,\u00a0Anatole Boute, and\u00a0Ludwig Kramer,\u00a0each an expert in Environmental Law and\/or Energy Law, committed to the improvement of the rule of law and the respect of human rights in the Western Balkans.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/reri.org.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/RERI-IG-savetodavni-odbor-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sanja Bogojevi\u0107<\/strong>\u00a0is Fellow and Associate Professor of Law at Lady Margaret Hall and the University of Oxford. She is an expert on carbon markets, environmental rights, climate change law, and is currently working on the interlinks between the rule of law, environmental protection and populism; infrastructure and climate change; and legal aspects of greenhouse gas removal projects\u00a0as part of the\u00a0UK Government\u2019s largest-ever research programme to understand and scale up greenhouse gas removal techniques.\u00a0Her writing\u00a0has been awarded the prestigious Nils Klim Prize 2016.\u00a0Bogojevi\u0107\u00a0has held visiting research\/teaching positions at the Max Planck Institute for Collective Goods; the New York University School of Law; the University of New South Wales; the UC Berkeley School of Law; Riga Graduate School of Law; the University of Belgrade Law Faculty; and the University of Milan.\u202f\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anatole Boute\u00a0<\/strong>is a Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in the fields of energy, environmental and investment law. His research focuses on the legal aspects of the transition of energy systems towards sustainability, with a special interest for energy market reforms in emerging economies.\u00a0He has\u00a0assisted\u00a0multilateral development banks (e.g. the World\u00a0Bank\u00a0and Asian Development Bank),\u00a0the\u00a0United Nations Conference on Trade and Development,\u00a0the\u00a0International Energy Agency, the\u00a0Energy Charter Secretariat, as well as private investors and national governments,\u00a0on various legal and regulatory aspects of energy market reform and the energy transition.\u00a0He is the author of\u00a0<em>Russian Electricity and Energy Investment Law<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Energy Security Along the New Silk Road<\/em>.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ludwig Kr\u00e4mer<\/strong>\u00a0was\u00a0Head\u00a0of the Legal Unit of DG Environment, European Commission between 1987 and 1994, and then moved to head the Waste Management Unit. In 2001,\u00a0Kramer became\u00a0Head\u00a0of the\u00a0Unit\u00a0on Environmental Governance, retiring from the Commission\u00a0in\u00a02004.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\u00a0has written extensively in the field of environmental law, authoring\u00a0about\u00a020 books and handbooks and around 150 articles on\u00a0EC\/EU\u00a0environmental law. As well as being Visiting Professor at University College London,\u00a0Kramer\u00a0is a Professor in European and German environmental law at the University of Bremen.
