{"id":14295,"date":"2025-08-22T15:12:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T14:12:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reri.org.rs\/court-case-filed-over-environmental-impact-assessment-study-for-the-national-football-stadium-project\/"},"modified":"2025-08-22T15:13:36","modified_gmt":"2025-08-22T14:13:36","slug":"court-case-filed-over-environmental-impact-assessment-study-for-the-national-football-stadium-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reri.org.rs\/en\/court-case-filed-over-environmental-impact-assessment-study-for-the-national-football-stadium-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Court case filed over environmental impact assessment study for the National Football Stadium project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>RERI filed a lawsuit to the Administrative Court against the Ministry of Environmental Protection, challenging the\u00a0<b>unlawful approval<\/b>\u00a0granted by the Ministry to the Environmental Impact Assessment Study for the construction of the National Football Stadium.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>In the lawsuit, we pointed out that more than\u00a0<b>2,300 deep reinforced concrete piles and other foundation elements<\/b>\u00a0have already been constructed at the site\u00a0<b>without a prior environmental impact assessment<\/b>, although the law clearly stipulates that so-called preparatory works must also be subject to such assessment.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Despite the Ministry\u2019s claims to the contrary, the approved Study does not cover these preparatory works.
