Earlier, she was awarded the NL-High Potential scholarship, enabling her to pursue an LLM degree in Globalisation and Law, with a specialisation in Human Rights at Maastricht University. Darjana worked in several international organisations in The Hague in the field of public international law, mostly international criminal law. In addition, she worked in a law firm where she primarily dealt with civil and commercial law. She also participated in several international projects and seminars on the topic of human rights, the rule of law and environmental protection.
Since 2023, she has been engaged in RERI as a legal advisor. In this capacity, she works on projects related to decarbonisation, energy transition, and environmental protection from pollution, with a special interest in companies’ responsibility and obligations regarding environmental protection.
Darjana is fluent in English and French and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
