From 20 to 24 April 2026, a delegation of the Renewables and Environmental Regulatory Institute (RERI) will be visiting Berlin at the invitation of the esteemed Aspen Institute Germany, where they will participate in an expert programme dedicated to the challenges of the green transition, the future of energy policy, and the improvement of legal frameworks in line with EU standards.

The programme brings together political representatives and members of parliament, institutional actors, civil society organisations, academic institutions and experts from various European countries, with the aim of exchanging experiences and strengthening dialogue on sustainable and fair public policies in the fields of energy and environmental protection.

RERI’s participation represents recognition of the organisation’s long-standing work in safeguarding the public interest, strengthening transparency in decision-making processes, promoting the rule of law and developing policies based on contemporary standards and sustainable practices.

During their stay in Berlin, RERI representatives will take part in discussions on emerging regulatory challenges, energy security, the achievement of climate goals and the role of civil society in decision-making processes.

Through international cooperation of this kind, RERI continues to contribute to knowledge exchange and to the strengthening of more democratic, sustainable and accountable policies in Serbia and the region.
