She is an expert in carbon markets, environmental law, climate change regulations, and is currently working on the interconnections between the rule of law, environmental protection, and populism; infrastructure and climate change; and the legal aspects of greenhouse gas removal projects as part of the UK Government’s largest research program on understanding and advancing greenhouse gas removal techniques. Her writing was awarded the prestigious Nils Klim Prize in 2016. She has held visiting research/teaching positions at the Max Planck Institute for Public Goods; New York University School of Law; University of New South Wales; UC Berkeley School of Law; Riga Graduate School of Law; University of Belgrade Faculty of Law; as well as the University of Milan.
