Following the successful workshop on emission pathways aligned with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C, and discussions with representatives from relevant national and international institutions, the academic community, and the civil sector, the organization Climate Analytics, in cooperation with RERI, has prepared a Pathway Summary Report: Serbia. Through stakeholder engagement, key priority areas of action in Serbia’s energy and climate policy were analyzed. The dialogue between the government and civil society organizations was encouraged, key issues were identified, and recommendations were provided to address the obstacles to energy transition and climate action in Republic of Serbia. The TERPEIS BALKANS project – Triggering Emissions Reductions in the Power and Energy Intensive Sector is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
