The overall objective
The objective of the project is to strengthen public understanding of the economic and systemic impacts of fossil fuels in Serbia, while simultaneously increasing the visibility and acceptance of renewable energy sources and clean flexibility solutions.
The expected outcomes
- Improved public awareness of the real economic and social costs associated with fossil fuels, including the instability and long-term expense linked to gas;
- Reduced influence of misleading narratives concerning renewables, grid stability and energy pricing;
- Increased visibility of renewables-based and flexibility-oriented solutions through short multimedia formats and influencer-supported dissemination;
- Stronger resonance of BFF-aligned messages in national and local digital spaces;
- Reinforced engagement of local communities through a targeted national event and communication with local media.

- Preparation of the analytical brief “The real cost of fossil fuels in Serbia”
- Implementation of the video campaign “Clean energy facts”
- Execution of a micro-influencer collaboration campaign
- Development of a monthly infographic series “Energy myths debunked”
- Organisation of a local public event
The project will be implemented from February to November 2026, with the support of Beyond Fossil Fuels.
